How small website files work.
1. Overview
Cookies are small files placed in a browser to remember a preference or help a site operate. Stalvena uses a restrained set and does not use cookies to create a profile of your reading. This policy applies to stalvena.info and was reviewed on 9 September 2026.
2. Session cookies
A session cookie supports navigation and expires when the browser closes. It contains no readable personal profile and is used only for essential page behaviour.
3. Preference cookies
The cookie consent choice may be remembered for 180 days so the banner does not repeatedly interrupt the same visitor. You can clear it through browser settings.
4. Analytics
If enabled with consent, an analytics cookie may remain for up to 13 months and reports broad page activity. It is not required to read articles. Rejecting optional cookies leaves core pages available.

8. Browser controls and withdrawal

A visitor can withdraw optional consent by clearing the relevant site data and selecting a different choice when the banner appears. Withdrawal does not change processing that was lawful before the choice was withdrawn.
When a reader contacts us about cookies, the message may include the browser, page and approximate time needed to investigate. We use those details only to answer the question and normally delete the enquiry after 12 months. We do not ask a reader to send a full browsing history. 11. Retention and international processing

Optional analytics records follow the provider setting and are limited to the stated 13-month period where applicable. If a provider processes information outside the UK, contractual or other lawful transfer protections are used.
Clearing browser storage does not automatically erase an internal consent record, because the two records serve different purposes. A request about a consent record can be sent to [email protected] with the approximate date and browser if known. We will not ask for a full browsing history to handle that request. Identity checks may be used before disclosing information connected with another person.
12. Review, complaints and change log
